Suprise lunch date.

Nothing can make my day quite like recieving an out of the blue and much needed phone call from Skodapop seeing if I'm free for lunch. We had the Bike Shop's famous three cheese quesadillas, magical cilantro sauce, and a wonderful midday break. 

Coffee, laundry mountains, and a job interview.

Curry Flurry

I've been in such a curry kick lately. I've been sprinkling it on everything lately, and today I tried it on my egg salad. Oh. My. Goodness. AMAZING. However, it was incredibly unphotogenic, so the photo of the pretty curry packaging will have to suffice.

I hate judgmental questions. 

"Coffee and peanuts?", she asked with a nose wrinkle. 

Well, actually, they are cashews, and this happens to be the breakfast of champions. 

Level up.

I cleaned a bunch today.  Did mountainous piles of laundry. Basically, I accomplished lots, in Skyrim AND in real life today. Made my man sausage jambalaya, and it was delish. Sautéed myself some broccoli for the first time, and was pleasantly surprised. 

Now I’m in desperate need of a shower, curled up on the couch watching 30 Rock and finishing my wine. 

Life is pretty lovely.

I have been eating my weight in kale lately! I never in a million years would have guessed a veggie would be so delicious. Kale chips, you have stolen my heart.

It's nice to have someone working late with you. Shouts of "You can do it!" and "You're doing it!" echo back and forth between us as Gunner snores and Kitty glares.
